Being the type of person she was, Chii was more open about her feelings then anyone. If someone was pretty or interesting, she would point it out. Yet, for some reason she couldn’t really say anything for this person. Yes, they were indeed pretty but, she felt like they already knew that. What could she even say to them. A smal frown tugged at the ends of the girls lips as she tried to form something to say. Right now, she was literally staring at her. She must be creeped out.
“Chii is sorry. She cant figure out what to say. It is… um.. what is that saying. Chii has forgotten. Something about a train?”
Takiko wasn’t aware that the girl was staring at her, she had been lost in her own thoughts. Startled as soon as she started to speak, she turned & smiled at her,
❝Oh, I think you mean you lost your train of thought? Don’t worry, it happens to everyone.❞Now that she had lost her own train of thought, she might as well try to make conversation,
❝You name is Chii?That’s a nice name. I’m Takiko.❞
The tea simmered, plopped in the middle of the table. Space, negative space was prevalent as the distance between the two women. The room, despite the shelves full of books and dated artifacts, felt empty – but sacred too. But of course, that was obviously present whenever one lived next to the shrine.

“My brother is out now, but he should come back soon. What did you say you needed him for? A book?”
Looking around, she sipped her tea. She wasn’t sure she would find what she was looking for here, but someone told her it was worth a try to check anyway. ❝Yes, It’s little red book called the Universe of the Four Gods.❞ She had thought to mention the author the book, but maybe she didn’t have to. Plus, she didn’t really want to mention that man’s name right now.
Flashing a bright, toothy smile, Yusuke raised a peace sign at the female, knowing curiosity would win over in the end. Human nature and all that. “Well, you see, I know a guy who has a thing for plants and crap like that. No doctor, but he knows his stuff when it comes to healing and all that jazz. Maybe he can help with your mom. Never know.”
It sounded a little iffy to her. Her family doctor said there wasn’t a known cure for her mothers illness, but if this person could help even if it was just to ease her pain, then it would be worth it.. “You think he can help? I mean if he can help even a tiny bit it’s worth a shot, right?”
❝ I’m glad to know! This little guy can be a pain sometimes, this is why I asked… And look, I don’t really do this everyday, but since you seem to like cats so much, would you like to pet him? I’m sure Artemis wants to be your friend! ❞
“I would love to pet him.
Most cat’s I try to approach won’t let me near them unless I give them a treat.
” she replied as she stroked Artemis gently. “Well Artemis, it’s very nice to meat you. My name is Takiko & I hope we become very good friends.”

“No need to apologize, these plants & herbs are free for those who are in need of them. This land doesn’t belong to anyone.” He reminded her of someone else who was knowledgeable about such things. “If I may ask, what brings you here. Besides the plants that grow here?”
“You… don’t know where you are? That’s…. that’s an odd thing for someone to say. You’re in the continent Ishgar, kingdom of Fiore? Ever heard of it? No? Well then you just made this far more complicated than it needed to be. Like, do you need me to point you directions somewhere? I can lead you to the closest city if that is what you’d like.”
“I’ve never heard of Ishgar or Fiore. I’m not sure how I even got here, but I’ll take your offer on leading me to the nearest city. if it isn’t too much trouble.”

“Oh no, he’s not making me uncomfortable at all. I think he’s rather charming. It make’s me wish I could have a cat at home.”
